Well, I thought I'd start things with a little explanation of how this all began.
so, sit back, grab a cuppa and let your imagination take you on the journey through the magical woodland realm of Zoë Rose Art.
‘Once upon a time, there was a girl whose heart was captivated by the moon. Residing near a mystical woodland, she frequently strolled with her whippets beneath the evening sky, delving into the enchanting countryside that surrounded her.
This forest, with its towering redwoods, fragrant pines, and meandering pathways through mossy glades and whimsical trees, was a realm of magic and mystery. Inhabited by woodland creatures and steeped in folklore and dark fairy tales, it was serene by day and came alive at night, with celestial skies casting their enchanting glow upon all below.
The moon shone brightly above the tree tops and illuminated a path for the girl to follow, the girl looked up and saw the bright moon. Mesmerised by its magnificence, she wanted to capture it, she wanted to carry it around in a glass jar, keep it with her everywhere she went. So, she climbed the tallest tree, but she couldn’t quite reach the moon, she asked the moths and the ravens to assist, but they couldn’t quite fly high enough.
Sitting on a tree stump, she gazed up and along came a fox and joined her on her seat. The fox explained that she couldn’t capture the moon, it needed to stay in the sky, to shine like a torch and enlighten the forest for all of the animals. The fox suggested that the girl drew the moon, as she would then be able to keep this on her, all of the time.
So that is what she decided to do, surrounded by her whippets, toadstools and trees, she painted the moon, she painted the stars, she painted the foxes. Deer, badgers and hedgehogs came out to join her and she painted them too. Scribbling away in her sketchbook.
Before she knew it, she had a full collection of treasures to keep, to share and to enjoy.
These are the pictures and the paintings you see today at Zoë Rose Art. Treats, gifts & presents to fill your homes and cheer your friends. Trinkets to collect and illustrations to adorn your walls.
